Incredible place with an amazing view, but serious safety concerns and lack of basic amenities made the stay challenging Positive: The house itself looks great and is in excellent condition. The view is absolutely stunning, surrounded by a beautiful jungle atmosphere. The private beach is also beautiful, with white sand and amazing water. However, access to it is a bit challenging, and there isn’t really a comfortable place to sit and relax there. Negative: The access to the property is quite challenging and can be unsafe, especially when arriving by scooter. There is sand on the road, along with steep inclines and declines, which makes it easy to slip. Access to the house at night is even more problematic. The path is very dark and feels unsafe, we actually fell while trying to reach the property. We informed the host about this, but unfortunately did not receive any response. There is no cleaning service provided, and this was not mentioned in the listing. In addition, there are no basic cleaning supplies in the house, so it’s important to come prepared. Given that the property is quite remote and not easily accessible, this becomes a significant issue. In our opinion, the stay is better suited for a short visit (1–2 nights) rather than a longer stay. It is also worth noting that the host charges 1200 THB for cleaning or changing sheets and towels, which was not clearly disclosed in advance. Finally, our interaction with the host regarding these issues was not very helpful, especially when we raised the need for basic cleaning in such a remote location.

A Beautiful Experience Positive: I can't stress how much I would love to come back to this location, and I live on Samui. It's beautiful. The only two sealed rooms are the bedroom and bathroom. The rest is open. There's something about opening the front door and still being "outside" that I found refreshing. The view of the water is absolutely STUNNING. Most of our days were spent relaxing in the living area while enjoying the nature. Everything was clean. The kitchen had every appliance you could need, along with pots and pans and such. The staff were responsive and helpful. Band, the grounds keeper, is a sweet guy who is very generous with his stories of the islands. Negative: Very minor gripes: While being a beautiful location, the road to get there is very unkempt. It's all concrete, but very very vertical mixed with lots of sand pits at every decent/turn. Leaving or going home were the worst parts about this location. If I had a 125cc, I would have been concerned about 2 people plus bags going up some of the hills. It could really use some cleaning up. Just be careful and you'll be fine. The double bed was two twin beds sandwiched together which often came apart in the evening.
